Boston and Caucasus

The Caucasus is far away? We may think so, but it is not, it is close. Through the internet we have become neighbors. We maybe do not look at them, but they see us! With all the luxury of the west, with all the overabundance of food, with all the comforts of daily life, with all the freedom we have. They care. And even those, who have emigrated to share the Western World, have family ties to those they left behind. Family ties are close ties, especially in Caucasia.
I have just returned from one of the many trips I have taken there, a few hours ago. These people in Caucasia care, and we need to care!
They live in daily fear of wars and unrest, they see our luxury and comforts in everyday life. It is a long distance between Boston and Chechnya, Dagestan, Ossetia, but it is close. We need to be aware and we need to care!
